Resubmit Your 2020 Abstract

For the 68th Annual Meeting to be held in Boston, MA over the NEW dates of July 6 - 9, 2021, SRI plans to make several accommodations to previous policies and guidelines for abstract submitters. SRI will begin accepting abstracts on November 12, 2020. 

Click the "Submit an Abstract" button above to login to the Abstract Submission Page. Please note, to view your accepted 2020 abstract to submit, please use the same email and password used for the submission in 2020.

Important Instructions and Guidelines for Resubmitting Your 2020 Abstract

  • If your abstract has not been published in a journal (other than the 2020 Reproductive Sciences Abstract Supplement), you can resubmit the same abstract and makes edits/additions to the previously submitted abstract.
  • If your abstract has not been accepted for publication in a journal (other than the 2020 Reproductive Sciences Abstract Supplement), you can resubmit the same abstract and makes edits/additions to the previously submitted abstract.
  • All General Abstract Policies, Guidelines and Submission Deadlines apply to resubmitting your 2020 abstract.
  • Log into the abstract submission portal with the same email address and password you used for the 2020 Annual Meeting. 
  • When you log into the abstract submission portal, you will see that your accepted abstract(s) from the 2020 Annual Meeting will be located on the 'Abstract Submission' page. The status of the abstract will be marked as 'incomplete' and you will need to follow the next steps in completing the abstract submission.   
  • You are able to make edits to the abstract body if needed. If changes are made, the abstract will undergo the blind peer-review process as if it is a new abstract submission.
  • If you abstract was accepted for a poster presentation at the 2020 Annual Meeting, and you resubmit your abstract with no additional changes/edits, your abstract will be quickly reviewed by the Program Director and Program Chair. If compliant to the new guidelines, your abstract will be accepted for a poster presentation for the 2021 Annual Meeting.
  • If your abstract was accepted for an oral presentation at the 2020 Annual Meeting and you resubmit your abstract with no additional changes/edits, your abstract will be blind peer-reviewed, as if it is a new abstract submission.
  • The following pages will need to be updated before your resubmitted abstract is complete: 
    • In Training Verification Letter (if applicable) - This will need to be resubmitted for the 2021 Annual Meeting 
    • Awards (if applicable) - Please review and update which awards you qualify for. 
    • Abstract Topic Category - New categories were added for the 2021 Annual Meeting, so you will need to reselect the abstract topic(s).
    • Questionnaire - The questionnaire answers will need to be reviewed and updated for the 2021 Annual Meeting 
  • A $50.00 (USD) will be charged for any new abstract and resubmitted abstract for the 2021 Annual Meeting.

Please note - SRI does not guarantee that your previously accepted abstract for oral presentation at the 2020 Annual Meeting will be accepted as an oral presentation for the 2021 Annual Meeting.


Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, all accepted abstracts were published in the 2020 Reproductive Sciences Abstract Supplement available online. Reproductive Sciences owns the original copyright of abstracts and should be cited as such, but you are able to present your abstract elsewhere if you do not plan to resubmit your accepted abstract to the 2021 Annual Meeting.
Yes. However, Reproductive Sciences owns the original copyright of your abstract as it was published in the 2020 Reproductive Sciences Abstract Supplement and should be cited as such. SRI encourages you to resubmit your abstract for the 2021 Annual Meeting in Boston! 
Yes, all abstract submissions, even resubmissions, will be charged to $50.00 USD non-refundable abstract submission fee.
