FAQs
Because of the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) SRI faces a situation unprecedented in the 67-year history of the SRI. As a result of travel bans that were issued between countries, many speakers and attendees are no longer able to participate in the meeting. This has led to cancellations for plenary talks, satellite speakers, oral presenters, and poster presenters. These many cancellations have greatly compromised the scientific content and quality of the meeting.
The SRI Council will be discussing ideas including a virtual meeting or something similar, in the coming weeks. Watch your email for updates.
Staff is working to refund all attendees at 100%. Should you wish to donate half of your registration to lessen the burden on the Society, please contact info@sri-online.org.
No. SRI will not refund individual airline ticket costs. Please contact your airline directly regarding ticket cancellations.
